Today my group members and I completed a pitch to the rest of the class, we told them of our idea and how our idea has developed since when we first saw the brief. The feedback we received was all good, we praised on our understanding of target audience and how well we knew and could tell others of out synopsis. I would say that since the first ever pitch I did I have improved massively when it came to understanding the idea and how we pitch that to the class. When we were receiving feedback we were told that when writing out the script we need to make sure that we remember that our character is not just clumsey, she is also awkward also that we should keep the slapstick comedy to a minimum as sometimes it can get way to much and can become annoying and not funny anymore. In the pitch we talked about contingency plans which is something I would say we could have improved on as we were not fully aware of what we would do if some of the locations said no to letting us film. However considering we had no time to rehearse our pitch I feel that we actually did really well and from the feedback I know how I can improve for FMP.
