Diary entry 17.01.2019/pitch evaluation
This is my pitch that I did for my video essay I am going to make, I really enjoyed pitching as this is the first time I have ever pitched alone so it was very different and something to look forward to. As I have never pitched a lone I was not used to all the questions at the end being directed only at me so that was something I had to take into consideration other than that I felt that the pitch went really well.

First draft proposal

Today we started on our draft proposals which I find to be quite a struggle as I am not really too sure of what I want to write. Usually I would follow the description to help me however I did not want my proposal to feel as if it was scripted I wanted it to actually sound like me. I managed to finish my first draft proposal and now I want to get some feedback from my tutor to see how I can improve for my final draft.

Over the past few days I have had a family emergency which means I have not been in college, as I have been helping and caught up in the family circumstances I have been unable to complete some of the work that has been due. However I have tried to start and finish some of the the pre-production paperwork. When I return back to college tomorrow I am going to go over everything with my tutor to see what still needs to be done and what needs to be improved. As I have decided to create a video essay I am not too sure what kind of paperwork I should be completing so I have just done what makes sense to me.

Today I carried on with my video essay I recorded some footage at home last night which I have started to edit today I was collecting footage and clips to go into the video off the different programmes. I am going to continue with the research and clip collecting at home and hopefully start editing soon.
