Production diary
Today me and my group started to begin with our filming. We set up the tv studio to make our set and started filming some test shots. The set up went really well and it looked exactly how we expected it to look. Nico and I then went to some different classrooms to try and get some people to be in our video. We did get quite a few people which is an improvement from how we started, however still not enough. I decided to write some random quotes all over the white board in the tv studio to make the party scene look like its the best party ever. I am quite nervous about filming tomorrow as we will be a member down for the rest of the week so I really hope everything goes to plan and goes well. We will be receiving some help from other people in the class who are happy to film for us while me and Nico are acting. Overall today has been more successful then I thought it would be so I am very pleased.
I would say that today we didn't really have many set backs or not as many as I expected from today I have learnt that I need to be more organised as if I was we may have had a few more people already sorted out.
Production Diary
Today my group and I with some help managed to get so much work done. A group member and myself went round the college to try and collect as many people as we possibly could and we ended up with quite a few. We directed them to run down the corridors into the TV studio screaming woooo and college break in. We got loads of shots of party scenes and I am really happy with what we did today. All that is left to do is just some extra cutaway scenes, just to be safe and to have some shots of everyones phones going off to tell them about the college break in. Today I have learnt that I should try my hardest not to stress when things are not going exactly to plan as today everything did work out, the way I had hoped it to. Tomorrow I hope to finish filming and start editing on Monday 16th.
Production diary
Today I completed filming, my group and I only had one more scene to complete which was shots of the two main characters receiving and sending texts about breaking into college. I would say that the shots we have are quite good however I have not properly reviewed it yet so it could be different to what I am hoping and expecting. I am still quite nervous and worried about editing on Monday as this is not one of my strengths and I am not very confident when doing this. I would say that this is an area I hope to improve on in the future to achieve better grades. Over the time we have been filming many issues have come to light such as trying to find people to be in our video and other groups wanting to film in the tv studio however we have managed to overcome theses issues by helping out with the other group while they were filming or the other group would help us while we film. Since starting this project I have gained knowledge in shot types and angle movements. I have also learnt that you should always trust other people that have more experience then you do as they will more then likely help you get a better grade. On Monday I will start to review my footage and start editing.
