Diary entry 17/01/2018
Today I finished my research portfolio, as . group we then held a production meeting to discuss what we each found out through our individual research, we talked about our final idea and how that has changed or improved due to research of other radio shows. We then started to pre pare for our pitch on Monday morning our homework between now and then is to finish our slides to make sure that everything is pre pared for then. I was glad that I finished my research portfolio on time because it was so much more work than last time and what felt like a shorter amount of time to complete it in. From doing this I know that i need to improve on my biblography to make sure everything is perfect.
Evaluation
Today we held a pitch presentation to the class about our idea for our radio show. Personally I feel that I have improved from the last pitch I did as I was way more confident and had much clearer knowledge of the idea and the slides I was in charge of. The panel though that our idea was really good as it was quite different to what everyone was planning to do. My peers said that I had brilliant knowledge of the target audience and what we needed to do for the different audiences. As a group we need to improve on what we are going to be talking about on the show and how it will relate to the content of the show. We were also reminded that we should remember the fact that not everyone will be going out some people will be staying in so we should mention things to do and when staying in. We will make these improvements by adding them to the script so that the presenters know to include it in the show. For the research I need to find 40% UK artists to play on the show and make sure that the songs relate to the style of the show.

Diary entry 24/01/2018
Today I finished the running order, the show clock and my final proposal. Even though we have been working as a group we had to do these tasks on our own which meant it took a little longer however it was not as long as I had expected it to be. The running order took me the longest to finish as I had to add up all the times to make sure it all fitted perfectly then we could move on to the show clock.

Diary entry 29/01/2018
Today we completed a script for the news segment, each group member researched different parts of the news and then all came together to make the final script we then went to record what we had come up with to make sure that it lasted 2 minutes exactly, as this is what we had pitched. After recording the script we decided to add in another news story because we only had 1 minute 15 seconds luckily we had a few spare stories that we had not yet used so we added in what we felt as a group was the next most important news story that would be relevant to our target audience. Tomorrow we will be recording our radio show and while we will be waiting to get in the studio we will be creating our idents for our show using garage band.
